Terms of Use

Last updated: June 12, 2026

These terms describe what Angelus Guardian does, what it doesn't do and what the responsibilities of each party are when using the service.

1. Nature of the service

Angelus Guardian is a personal safety support tool. It helps you activate a network of trusted people and share the context of an incident in real time.

Angelus is not an emergency service and does not replace the police, emergency medical services, firefighters or any public authority. In situations of immediate risk, also call the official emergency services.

2. Operational limitations

To work properly, Angelus depends on:

  • Internet access for real-time synchronization.
  • Location permissions granted by the user.
  • Proper functioning of the mobile device.
  • Availability of the communication channels used.

3. No guarantee of absolute availability

Although the system uses redundancy and multiple delivery channels, no digital service can guarantee absolute availability, delivery of notifications in all circumstances or the arrival of help.

4. User responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your account data and guardians up to date, for correctly configuring your protection protocols and for using the service in good faith.

5. Guardian responsibilities

Guardians follow incidents and make informed decisions based on the context received. Following along is voluntary and creates no legal obligation to respond.

6. Misuse and suspension

It is prohibited to use Angelus for illegal purposes, to harass third parties or to generate false alarms. Accounts with abusive use may be suspended or terminated.

7. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. Relevant changes will be communicated through the official channels.
