Privacy Policy

This policy transparently explains what data Angelus Guardian collects, how it is used and protected, and what your rights are. In this document, Angelus Guardian may also be referred to as "Angelus".
1. What data we collect
We collect only the data necessary for the protection service to work:
- Account data: name, email and phone.
- Trusted contacts (guardians) that you register.
- Location data during an active incident or accompanied journey, when permission is granted.
- Emergency events and session tracking data.
- Device information, such as battery level and connection type.
- Technical push notification tokens, when you allow notifications.
- Notification delivery history and status.
2. How we use your data
Data is used to activate your guardians, share the context of an incident when a protocol is active, and keep an auditable history of accompaniment.
We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.
3. Sharing with guardians
Your location data and context are shared only with the guardians you chose and only during an active incident or accompanied journey, through a temporary follow-up link.
Anyone who receives the temporary link may see accompaniment information while the link is valid. Treat the link as sensitive information and share it only with trusted people.
4. Storage and processors
Data is stored on Supabase infrastructure, with row-level security (RLS). Email notifications are sent through Resend and push notifications through the Expo push service.
Data travels over encrypted connections (TLS) and is protected in transit and at rest, on monitored infrastructure.
5. Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to:
- Access to your personal data.
- Correction of incomplete or outdated data.
- Deletion of data processed based on your consent.
- Data portability.
- Withdrawal of consent at any time.
6. Retention and deletion
You can request the deletion of your account and data through the official support channels (support@angelusguardian.com, subject "Privacy / Data deletion") or via the dedicated data deletion page. Some records may be retained when legally required.
7. Controlled beta and service evolution
Angelus is preparing for controlled beta testing. At this stage there is no public commercial offer, checkout or pricing on the site. Features such as routines, protection journeys, contextual location, notifications and secure-link accompaniment may evolve through validation. Relevant changes will be communicated through official channels.
