Transparency about how we protect every piece of data.

How Angelus protects your data

We treat location and emergency data as critical information. We collect only what's necessary, for as long as necessary, and automatically destroy temporary access after the incident is resolved.

Data protection and storage

Data travels over encrypted connections (TLS) and is stored on Supabase infrastructure, with row-level security (RLS). Follow-up links use tokens that are temporary and are deactivated after the incident ends.

How alerts work

When you trigger the SOS, the system creates a tracking session and notifies your guardians by push and email, with a secure link for real-time follow-up, using multiple channels to maximize the probability of delivery.

How tracking works

Location is updated at short intervals and shown on a map with the recent route. The Realtime channel delivers new positions almost instantly, with polling as a redundant safety layer.

How guardians receive notifications

Guardians don't need a login to follow along: they receive a tokenized link. Every view and interaction by the guardian is recorded for auditing.

Privacy and sharing

Your location data is shared only with the guardians you chose, and only during an active incident. Nothing is sold or used for advertising.

Data deletion

You can request the deletion of your account and data through the official support channels.

Auditing and Transparency

Every incident generates auditable records, letting you know exactly what happened during the event:

  • Emergency events
  • Notification deliveries
  • Guardian views
  • Follow-up history
  • Delivery status per channel

Operational Limitations

To work properly, Angelus depends on:

  • internet access for real-time synchronization;
  • location permissions granted by the user;
  • proper functioning of the mobile device;
  • availability of the communication channels used.

Although the system uses redundancy and multiple delivery channels, no digital service can guarantee absolute availability.

Privacy first.
